Are you looking for a meaningful part-time job that offers you more than just a good reward? Do you want to gain work experience alongside your healthcare education? Then come work in elderly care at Vecht en IJssel! We have plenty of opportunities for you at our three locations in Utrecht or at our location in IJsselstein.
Depending on your year of study and tested competencies, you will work as a Helpende, Helpende Plus, or Verzorgende IG. In consultation, you will receive a contract between 0 and 24 hours, depending on your wishes and availability. Will you make the day a bit more beautiful for our elderly residents?
What are you going to do?
Your duties differ per position, but in all roles, you contribute to the well-being and daily care of our residents.
- Helpende: As a Helpende, you support residents with dressing and undressing, personal care, and meals. You also have an eye for their well-being and ensure a pleasant, safe atmosphere.
- Helpende Plus: As a Helpende Plus, you do the same as a Helpende, but in addition, you distribute medication according to protocol. Here too, the well-being of the residents is central: you see what someone needs and respond to this.
- Verzorgende IG: As a Verzorgende IG, you offer care and attention. You perform nursing technical procedures, signal changes in health, and have an eye for the overall well-being of the residents.
When you apply, we would love to hear which education program you are following and which year of study you are in within your motivation letter.
You are:
- At least 16 years old;
- Enthusiastic, patient, and involved in dealing with the elderly;
- Enrolled in a healthcare education program, such as Helpende, Verzorgende IG, or Nursing.
What do we offer?
We offer a fun part-time job in a small and personal organization in elderly care where, in addition to earning extra money, you can also gain experience for your education.
- Salary: We reward in accordance with the CAO VVT.
- The position of Helpende is scaled in FWG 25: from €16.61 per hour
- The position of Helpende Plus is scaled in FWG 30: from €17.02 per hour
- The position of Verzorgende IG is scaled in FWG 35: from €17.48 per hour
- Secondary employment conditions: We offer excellent secondary conditions, including:
- Year-end bonus of 8.33%, a nice bonus at the end of the year.
- Holiday allowance of 8%, so you can fully enjoy your well-deserved vacation.
The application for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is part of this selection procedure.

Each location has its own character and specialization, but everywhere we work with short lines, personal attention, and committed teams.
