Vacancy description:

Obs De Kaleidoskoop is a small-scale school with 130 pupils, big in giving very good education every single day. Many of our pupils have a mother tongue other than Dutch. Language is therefore central: we consciously immerse our pupils in it, pay intensive attention to vocabulary and social language, and make reading fun through our own well-equipped school library. At De Kaleidoskoop, you learn to dare and dare to learn. Children are given plenty of space to discover themselves, develop courage, and learn to appreciate their own work and that of others. If you work with us, you are part of a close-knit, professional, and inquisitive team. We work together on good education through joint startups, consultation, and collaboration moments. Our team consists of teachers, specialists (language and behavior), support staff, and a parent consultant. We are also a training school with two school trainers.

Job requirements - What will you do?

As an internal coordinator (intern begeleider), you play a key role in the care structure of our school. You work in an action-oriented way and are the pivot between teachers, management, parents, and external partners. Your tasks include:

  • Guiding and coaching teachers with learning and behavioral questions
  • Developing and implementing action plans and care pathways
  • Coordinating care consultations and contacts with parents and external partners
  • Analyzing learning results and deploying appropriate interventions
  • Contributing to the professionalization of the team
  • Translating new laws and regulations into daily educational practice
  • Thinking along about school policy and joining ongoing developments
  • Coordinating student registrations

Who are we looking for?

You are a driven professional with a passion for educational quality and you want to continue building good education for every child together with the team. You:

  • Are analytical, can think conceptually, and maintain an overview
  • Are proactive, empathetic, and can prioritize well
  • Follow developments in education
  • Have extensive educational knowledge and experience with internal coordination (IB) tasks
  • Preferably have taught in primary education yourself
  • Are strong in making analyses and can translate them into practice
  • Are visible in the school and a true sparring partner for the team and management

Employment conditions:

  • An appointment for 0.6 FTE, working days in consultation (Friday is preferred)
