Green space maintenance worker (holiday job) What will you do?

Would you like to earn some extra money during the summer months? Then you can work as a seasonal worker in green maintenance!
As a green maintenance worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the greenery. You and your colleagues will maintain the flower beds, parks and green strips. You work together in a small team and carry out the following tasks:

• Blowing leaves;
• Planting;
• Hoeing;
• Pruning.

As a seasonal worker, you should preferably be available for several consecutive weeks, for at least 32 hours per week. You are available during your holiday, in the period between May and August. Working hours are from 07.00 - 16.00 on Monday through Friday. It would be nice if you have a category B driving licence. Working in green maintenance is suitable for both men and women.

What do we ask?

• Experience in green maintenance is not required;
• Living in the Utrecht region;
• Since you will be doing a lot of physical work, you are, for example, strong enough to lift heavy branches;
• Flexible and motivated attitude;
• Available at least 4 days per week;
• Available in May, June, July and August for at least 3 consecutive weeks;
• Preferably in possession of a category B driving licence.

What do we offer?

• Salary of at least €2.600 - €2.740 per month, based on the adult wage and a 40-hour working week;
• Temporary travel expense reimbursement of € 0,25 per kilometre;
• Your wages paid into your account weekly;

Where will you work?

Your new employer is engaged in green maintenance and outdoor design for the municipality of Utrecht, such as parks, flower beds and all other greenery. This is maintained daily by a team of motivated people, of which you will become a part as a green maintenance worker.
